Tie Vest - Grey & Red - One Size (S/M/L)
My new tie vests are perfect for layering in this unpredictable Spring weather! Wear over a shirt, a dress, a tee, to instantly brighten (and warm up) a look.
The deep v-neck design and tie sides make for a casual and comfortable wear. I made the first sample of this last year and have been wearing it regularly as an extra layer - it’s incredibly comfortable and easy to wear and style.
The vests are made with yarn surplus from last year’s knitwear production, and so are unique as well as being sustainable! Created in a limited edition of three, they all feature an individual colour pattern showcasing the rich diversity of natural dyes.
This Red & Grey version features the natural undyed grey yarn, with a pop of madder red for a simple, yet striking, look.
This limited edition drop of three tie vests are all made in one boxy, relaxed fit. The tie sides make it adjustable to fit between a size S-L. I am modelling the vests in the photos, and am a broad size 12 (Medium) and 5’ 7” tall. Please see the measurements below for more information on sizing.

As with all Ria Burns Knitwear pieces, the yarn used is my bespoke Shetland-Romney lambswool from Fernhill Farm in Somerset. The yarn has been dyed by me using homegrown plants, and knitted on my hand-powered knitting machine in my North Somerset studio using a zero waste design method.
